Description
Talk Talk - Spirit Of Eden Vinyl LP 1988 VG/+/Near Mint PCSD105 UK.
I bought this album new at the time of release and it has been kept in a smoke-free environment. There is a small light stain on the inner sleeve (see photos) but apart from that the sleeve and inner sleeve are in excellent condition. The label on the record on one side has some bubbling due to an imperfection with the manufacturing process.
The record plays through with no jumps and having listened to it again, I would say it is between VG+ and VG. Overall fits the description of VG+ (A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences), but because of the nature of this recording, and how quiet the music is in places on this record there are a few instances where it fits the VG description (Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise). The surface noise is only really evident in soft passages, and the overall sound is clear.
This record has only been cleaned with an anti-static brush, so the sound may benefit from a 'proper' clean with fluid.
