Description
Very rare child's record from 1919. Manufactured by the Talking Book Corporation of New York, this record tells the story of The Singing
Frog. His story is printed on the back of the record. The graphics are wonderful, but not perfect. There is wear to all edges, with some creasing and separation of the cardboard layers, particularly on the left edge by the frog's leg. There is also a crease and separation above his right eye and some paper loss above his left eye. There is a longer crease across his nose, just above his mouth, but this does not go through to the back side. I see some paper loss at the lower right edge. There is also some writing in pencil on the back, but I believe this can be removed easily. Please examine the photos carefully as they are part of the item's description. The record, itself, is still firmly attached to the cardboard. There are some lines/ creases across the record. I can feel a separation with my fingernail in two of these, so these may be cracks. Even with this age- related wear, this old frog displays well and is a rare find for the right collector. No reserve. Ships to US only. Thanks for looking!
