Description
On offer today, a nice copy of the 1999 Simply Vinyl 180g Limited Edition UK Stereo 12" Vinyl Lp by Talking Heads titled: "Little Creatures". This pressing is on the EMI records label.
The vinyl is in very good plus condition, with the lyric insert and inner sleeve in excellent condition. The outer sleeve is also excellent, as it has been stored in its 'Simply Vinyl' plastic sleeve.
Catalogue number: SVLP 152
Side 1 condition:
Side 1 plays through very well with no jumps or sticks. There is very light background noise here and there, during quieter sections, but the quality of the playback still remains wonderful with an infrequent amount of light background noise. 8/10.
The surface and shine of the vinyl is excellent with very few light hairlines on the surface. There are no major scratches and no unfavourable marks or dirt. 8/10
The label on side 1 is in very good plus condition, with only a little evidence of light wear around the centre hole, there are very few light spider trails present also. The text is excellent with very little fading. However, it looks as though there was a printing error as there is a 'ghost image' of the label, positioned at 90°. (please see pics)
Side 2 condition:
Side 2 plays through beautifully well with very little background noise throughout. There are no sticks or jumps and no interference with playback. The transition from each song is very nice indeed. 8.5/10.
The excellent shine and surface of the vinyl on side 2 is equal to that as described on side 1. There are only a few light lines and it is beautifully clean with no major scratches, no rubs and no grease marks or dirt. 8.5/10
The EMI label on side 2 is in very good plus condition. There is no discolouration or fading evident and only a couple of light labels creases around the centre. The text remains visually strikingly bold with no obvious fading.
The inner sleeve is in excellent condition condition with no tears, very light creasing and very little discolouration. 9/10.
The lyrics insert is in excellent condition with no tears or major discolouration.
The outer sleeve is in excellent condition overall with very little wear to the main front and rear panel. The credits printed on the spine are fully readable with very little wear or fading.
The perimeter has very light amounts of edge wear and light corner rubbing, and there is very little discolouration throughout. 8.5/10.
The Simply Vinyl plastic sleeve is in very good condition with no seam splits. 8.5/10
