This record was issued only to radio stations back in 1979 by Warner Bros. Records. There were a series of these, released under the moniker of "Warner Bros. Music Show."
This recording is taken from the Talking Heads' show at the Agora in Cleveland on 12/18/1978. It's a long single LP -- over 51 minutes.
There is a neat version of "Psycho Killer" on this record, with an instrumental jam that starts out reminiscent of something Television would do but ends up uniquely Talking Heads-ish.
As is often the case with a promo-only release, packaging is minimal. The jacket is the same front and back . . . the format is same for all of the "Warner Bros. Music Show" releases. There is a plain white inner sleeve, not pictured.
This I believe is the second pressing. This record was subsequently bootlegged by various entities.
This was recorded a few months before Fear of Music was recorded, with, as far as I can tell, just the base band. The sound is very much in line with early-ish Talking Heads.
The record sounds good . . . the odd crackle here and there. The jacket is pretty good shape -- you can see a crunch on the lower right corner.
