Details

This is a genuine first pressing of the legendary special edition of Talking Heads' "Speaking in Tongues" featuring the iconic Robert Rauschenberg cover design. I purchased this myself when it was first released in 1983.

The innovative oversized packaging with rotating transparent plastic inserts showcases Rauschenberg's brilliant Pop Art design - one of the most celebrated album packages of the 1980s. While the outer cover shows honest wear and aging from 40+ years, the interior components and rotating elements remain in excellent shape.

Most importantly, the vinyl itself is in outstanding condition - played only a few times over the decades and showing no visible scratches. A fantastic-sounding copy of this new wave masterpiece featuring "Burning Down the House," "Girlfriend Is Better," and more.

Due to the oversized nature of this special edition package, it will not fit in a standard LP mailer. I will pack it securely in a larger box with proper protection to ensure safe delivery.
