This is RCA Records RLS-1426, Tchaikovsky 1812 Overture / Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 1 Byron Janis Fritz Reiner CSO, a deep groove, maroon label stereo test pressing of these great recordings. The label states Stereophonic Disc For Experimental Use Only, from the engineering division in Indianapolis. The record is in VG+ condition showing light signs of wear and playing quietly except for infrequent light ticks. A generic cover with disc information is included. The labels are excellent. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is still an excellent collector's grade copy of this unique and extremely rare record.
