Description

A rare LP record being a first issue from 1962 with the blue/silver label with black lettering.

Otto Klemperer conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra in Tchaikovsky’s Symphony 6 (Pathetique). SAX 2458, Matrix numbers YAX849-6 and YAX 850-5.

This copy would be a good collection gap filler for several reasons. Firstly the cover has a 4” split along the bottom edge from right to left. Secondly the inner sleeve, whilst original, is very creased. Lastly the record itself would visually grade as very good, nice shiny surface but with a few surface marks. It plays well but there are a few clicks at the end of the 1st movement and some near the start of side 2, the 3rd movement.
