Tchaikovsky Symphony 6 Giulini UK Columbia SAX 2368
The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini performs the Tchaikovsky “Symphony No. 6”. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2368), the labels are blue/green with silver “radio waves” and border, and black lettering and stereophonic flash. The record has a light surface scuffs and a few marks. There is also a pressing bubble on side two that thumps gently for 6 or revolutions. Otherwise the record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional low-level surface noise, and the recording is superb. The cover laminate has lifted and some is missing from along the right-hand side – otherwise it is in very good condition.
