No introduction necessary, this is an absolutely gorgeous Northern Soul dancer backed with some sublime deep soul! Alabama-born Ted Ford (real name: Horace Henry Ellis) cut many fine records, on Gaye, Sound Stage 7, Budd, and his own Stallion imprint, but this two-sider would have to rate as his finest hour. Produced and co-written, as always, by his friend and manager, the late Charles Cassandra Spears. Nashville Mains-stamped original in top shape, don’t miss it!
