Artists: Teddy Wilson and Billie Holiday: Both of these amazing artists were icons of their time. 

Teddy Wilson, was born as Theodore Shaw Wilson, on Nov. 24, 1912 in Austin, Texas. and passed away on July 31, 1986 in New Britain, Connecticut. He was an American jazz musician who was one of the leading pianists during the big band era of the 1930s and '40s and considered  to have a major influence on subsequent generations of jazz pianists.

Billie Holiday was born Eleanora Fagan on April 7, 1915 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and passed away on July 17, 1959 in New York City, New York. She was as an American jazz and swing music singer. Her vocal style, greatly inspired by jazz instrumentalists, and pioneered a new way of manipulating phrasing and tempo. She was known for her improvisational skills.

Cover: (VG++)- Very Good Plus Plus: Cover is in remarkable condition. Given that it was sold back in the late 1930s it has faired well with minimal wear on front cover. Original owner reinforced the binding early on so it's in tact. There is a half inch of spine that is split at the very top but it has been secured by the owner's tape. Edges of the binder cover shows light wear and one corner bump.

Shellac Record: (VG++) Very Good Plus Plus: Record 1: Side 2 has a chip on the outer edge that does not affect playing. Records 2-4 Show very light scratches and scuffs that do not affect the sound. These shellac 78 records are extremely durable if cared for and handled properly which clearly the previous owner took great care with this collection.

Sleeves are in gr8 condition: Sleeve 2 for Record 2 has a bend in one corner.
