Description
Realness Over Millions is TeeCee4800’s fourth project, released in September 2017. Hailing from the 4800 block of Mid-City in Los Angeles, his stage name reflects his deep connection to his roots.
TeeCee4800 began his career in 2009 by recording an original verse on “Toot It and Boot It,” a track he later gave to Def Jam. The label chose to release the version without his verse to better highlight their artist YG. This marked the true beginning of his career. Afterwards, he took part in several major projects, including My Krazy Life (2014) by YG and Free TC (2015) by Ty Dolla $ign, as well as DJ Mustard’s 10 Summers (2014) and Cold Summer (2016), which boosted his visibility on the California scene.
Realness Over Millions blends authentic storytelling reminiscent of classic West Coast rap icons like Tupac, Dr. Dre, and Ice Cube with modern productions by Money Mitch, Vandros MTM, Gabe Shaddow, and other influential beatmakers. TeeCee4800 delivers a laid-back, narrative flow, sharing his experiences from the streets of Los Angeles while expanding his audience.
The album features collaborations with YG, Vince Staples, G Perico, Berner, E-40, and several other key figures in California rap, solidifying TeeCee4800’s place in West Coast hip-hop.
