Teen Idles Minor Disturbance 7" ep Dischord No. 1

This is an original, 2nd pressing copy, released on Dischord  Records (no. 1) in 1981, by the Washington D.C. hardcore punk band the Teen Idles, of their "Minor Disturbance" 7" 33 RPM EP. This second pressing is identified as such on the back of the sleeve, and it also has the Black Flag bars on Henry Rollins'left hand in the picture on the back of the sleeve. The 1st record ever released by the seminal straight-edge punk label Dischord Records. I bought this record around the time when it first came out, most likely at Wax Trax! Records in Chicago

Features 7 (or 8, if you want to consider the songs Fiorrucci Nightmare and Getting In My Way as two separate tracks) fast, intense, songs that helped to define the D.C. sound. In my opinion, one of the best of the Dischord releases. Absolutely necessary for anyone into straight-edge D.C. scene, your collection could never be complete without a copy of this record.

Condition: The vinyl is in great shape: VG to VG+. No skips, no dings, no scuffs, just a couple very light surface scratches that do not affect the sound of the record. The labels have no wear, no fading, and no staining, and look as good as the day they were affixed to the record. Certainly of a spot in your record collection.

The heavy folded paper sleeve is also in decent shape: VG. Two very minor tears (less than 1/16 inch) at the top of the rear of the sleeve. No splits, but some yellowing of the sleeve, mostly along the, now separated, but still otherwise intact, glued sides of the sleeve. No splits in the very flimsy paper sleeve. No visible ring wear, and just a couple very minor creases. Again, certainly deserving of a spot in your record collection.

The insert is in great, near pristine shape, no tears, splits, or rips, just some minor yellowing.

Payment: Once the auction has concluded, I expect payment within 3 days, via paypal only. I do have a $4.50 handling charge to partially cover my costs for packaging and insurance, (I use 4 pieces of heavy foamboard inside a heavy cardboard box to protect your purchase which is then enclosed in an outer tyvek style or similar envelope) and you are responsible for all shipping charges.  Winners from outside the U.S., please do not pay until I send you an invoice with the correct shipping charges for your location.

Shipping Details:  I will ship your record as quickly as possible once you have paid, by the next business day. In the U.S. I will ship via either Media Mail or USPS Priority Mail. After you win the auction, please let me know which method you want me to use so I can send you an invoice with the correct shipping charges. Outside the U.S., I would recommend shipping your record via USPS Priority Mail International or USPS Express Mail International. If you wish, to save money on shipping costs, I could ship your record via USPS Priority Mail International Flate Rate Envelope, but be aware that if I do this, the package can be tracked, BUT NOT INSURED, and your record will not be overpacked in a cardboard box. I will still use the very stiff foamboard inside the envelope, which still offers very good protection. If you choose this method, please be aware that I can not offer a refund if the record is lost or damaged in transit, since it can not be insured, and you must agree to this in a message back to me on Ebay. I WILL NOT SHIP VIA USPS 1st Class Mail International, since such packages can not be insured OR tracked, so please, DO NOT ASK TO USE THIS METHOD.  Again, I always urge foreign buyers to pay the extra money regular Priority Mail or Express Mail costs; it is worth it. Since I now print my own shipping labels using ebay's system for doing so, I MUST declare the FULL AMOUNT of the record for customs purposes, and I will make no exceptions for this. Please, DO NOT request that I do so.
