Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible original 1990 US true first pressing of Teena Marie's sensational R&B/soul masterpiece, Ivory (E 45101). Written, arranged, and produced entirely by Lady Tee herself, this album represents a flawless blend of late-80s soul, funk, and New Jack Swing, featuring the standout singles "Here's Looking At You" and "If I Were A Bell."

Collector's Audio & Visual Profile: This copy is a genuine US first pressing, manufactured at the premier Columbia Records Carrollton plant, carrying the stamped G logo and early 1A hand-etched matrix codes in the deadwax. Because major labels drastically cut vinyl production in 1990 in favor of CDs, original US vinyl pressings of Ivory are extremely rare and highly prized by 90s soul collectors.

The outer jacket is beautifully preserved, remaining flat and solid inside its original factory store shrink wrap.

• All Songs Written, Arranged and Produced by: Teena Marie for Lady Tee Productions

Colors are incredibly bold and unfaded. Displays just a touch of light, natural wear at the exposed opening edge. No seam splits, no ring wear, no writing.
