Description

This is Alabama trio The Teenangels singing "Ain't Gonna Let You (Break My Heart)" on Sun 388 from 1964. This promotional rockabilly record looks VG++ with minor surface markings but plays in NM condition and comes in a Sun Records company sleeve. The picture sleeve is a custom sleeve made in Canada or England and is in MINT condition. This is a one-off sleeve that is not mass produced. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeve. Apparently these songs were leased to Sun Records but only the promotional copies were pressed and only a few copies made it out because the owner of the masters withdrew from any agreement with Sam Phillips due to dissatisfaction with promotional efforts by Sam Phillips. There is no current history of any sales of this record on eBay. This must be one of the few copies that made it out into circulation. If you collect Sun records, you might not want to wait on this.

U.S. postage and handling is $4.50 on this item. International customers should email me first for a shipping quote.

I grade in direct sunlight or under a high intensity lamp to assure the most accurate grading possible. However, you have my unconditional guarantee that I will take the records back if you think that the records are not as stated. My reputation is what has kept me in business for 44 years.
