Description
This album was released in the early 1970's titled "Joe Bravo & the Electric Chamizal Band with Matias Munoz". Matias Munoz later sang with another great SA band, Machismo. The Electric Chamizal band was the club band for El Chamizal Club on North Flores in San Antonio, TX and featured some of the best musicians from there. They had a tuff horn section. Joe and Matias really rock in this album. This album is in excellent condition and still has its plastic protective album covering. If you want to hear horns, you'll find them here.
Personnel: Leader: Ray Alfaro Jr./Bar, tenor, alto and soprano saxes, flutes and bass clarinet Bob Krally/Lead Trumpet Joe Hernandez/Trumpet, tuba, trombone and flute, Richard Tellez/Trumpet & flugelhorn, Frank Valdez/Organ and Piano, Mando Lucio/Bass, Raul Aleman/Guitar (Many of this musicians went on to play with Sunny Ozuna, Little Joe, Jimmy Edwards, in fact Jimmy once worked under Ray Alfaro.
