If you were fortunate enough to have seen Slatkin and the St. Louis Symphony performing live, no doubt you will be impressed by this amazing combination. And perhaps you may also agree that the band should replace one or two of the aging "big five" orchestra in this country! Here they perform the Mahler No.2 that can only be described as sublime. Tough box set to find!
