"Tell Me Pretty Baby"/"Tell Me Pretty Baby" by "Elvis Presley" (aka Michael Conley aka the Red Dots)( Rare promo copy, in picture sleeve, of a single released in 1978 and distributed by Cin/Kay Records alleging to be a "lost" pre-Sun Elvis recording from 1954, but in fact, a fake, apparently recorded in 1958. RCA sued one Pete Falco for fraud and copyright infringement, and the 45 was taken of the market. But then Falco and a partner actually wrote a book perpetuating the myth that Presley recorded the tune with Falco's band in Phoenix in 1954. Worth collecting for the picture sleeve alone, which reprints an "authentication" letter from an "assistant professor in the Communication Disorders Dept" of UTD. This is an unplayed copy.
