Ten Years After Stonehenge lp UK Deram Mono DML 1029
Stunning Mono pressing of this classic lp. When it was fuirst pressed in 1969 Mono was on the way out. Consequently there were very few Mono copies of this lp pressed. There are plenty of Stereo copies around but even poor quality Mono ones don't come up very often. Copies of this quality are rarer than hens teeth.
Matrices RSLP 6312 A3G and B3G
The record is conservatively graded ex+. It is flat and very clean and shiny: indeed it looks almost like new. There are no observable marks in normal light but in very bright light there are a couple of wispy marks that make no difference to the sound which is flawless throughout. There are a few spindle marks so the lp has been played a number of times but this has made no difference to the quality of the sound or how the lp looks. It will be very difficult to find a better copy anywhere.
The labels are graded ex-. They are free from writing, rips tears or stickers. There are a few spindle marks and a little browning around the spindle hole. Other than that the labels are superb.
The cover is in excellent condition. It is clean and tidy and free from creases. There is some very light wear to one corner and some fading to the spine. Overall, this is a very nice example of this cover.
The original red mono Decca/Deram inner is in excellent condition with just a very light impression (not ringwear) where the lp has been. There are no major creases or rips, tears etc.
This lp will suit even the most exacting of collectors. Happy bidding.
