Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP Watt by Ten Years After, stereo UK first pressing from 1970 on Deram 1078..
The stamped matrix no.s are XZAL 10255P - 1W and XZAL 10256P - 2W
The heavyweight (for it's day) vinyl is in Near Mint condition with only a few extremely faint paper lines. There is nothing affecting play. The labels are spotless. with no stickers, writing, scuffs, or stains. If held up to the light a couple of very faint spindle marks can be seen on each side.
The matt gatefold cover, printed by Howards Printers (Slough) Limited, is in Excellent condition. There are no tears, stains, shelf wear, stickers or writing. The spine is perfectly legible. The only blemishes I can find are a tiny scuff to the top and bottom of the opening and on the back there is just the start of the record beginning to show through from the inside.
The poster is in Excellent condition with just a tiny pin hole in each corner from when the poster was (very briefly) hung on a bedroom wall.
The white and blue poly-lined (indicating Stereo) inner sleeve just has some very faint browning / ageing to the edges. There is a date printed on the bottom 12-70 indicating December 1970, the date it was released.
, a very desirable copy of a 42 year old record.
Comes from a smoke free home.
I ship in purpose-made strong cardboard mailers and I'm happy to combine multiple purchases in one parcel to save on shipping costs.
