The words to a famous .Christmas song "It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” truly describe the sights and sounds of this time of year. As the days grow colder and Jack Frost nips the air. our hearts become warmer with the Christmas spirit. The Milligan Choir wishes to add something to this time of year so we try to convey the Christmas spirit to you in song rather than words. Thus, this album is dedicated to sharing this very special time of year with you through music. Christmas means a lot of things to many people. It is the sparkle in a child’s eye as he awaits to hear the “jingle, tingle” of Santa’s sleigh on the roof. It is the joy in his heart when he finds his stocking full on Christmas morn. Christmas is a gaily trimmed tree with an angel on top. It is dreaming of a White Christmas and having that dream come true. To the Milligan Choir, Christmas is Music; and the variety of music in this album shows, the varieties of the Christmas Spirit. Can anyone imagine Christmas without music? For it is listening to music around the fireside that fills our hearts with joy and takes us back to that first Christmas night. As you listen to this album, remember, it is not mere voices you hear singing, but our hearts wishing to share their joy of the Christmas season with yours. So from the Milligan Col lege Concert Choir - “Have yourself a Merry, Merry Christmas”. THE SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS FROM MILLIGAN COLLEGE Milligan College Concert Choir & Glen Owens, Director
