this is part of a series of auctions coming out of a burst of post-spring cleaning. so many extra records! keep checking back over the next couple of days for a lot of like-minded stuff.
this auction is for a new, unopened and unplayed copy of the **long** out of print Terrastock 5 7" box set containing five limited edition singles from Sonic Youth, Bardo Pond, Charalambides, Stone Breath and The Itidarod. this set was primarily sold at the fifth terrastock festival in boston in 2002 and, needless to say have long since sold out. please read below for text from the label, the venerable Time-Lag records, for further information about this set. these records are totally gorgeous and letterpressed in different colored sleeves and housed within a (currently sealed) wraparound letterpressed box. this was issued in a series of 500 - i'm not sure what number it is as the numering was all done on the inside of the "box" and this copy is still sealed. all of the material present on these 7"s is exclusive to these releases and has not appeared elsewhere. totally great and bonkers stuff for the collector of free folk/noise/psych records. the box and records are in new/great condition. Great for your collection!

a special 7” box set to coincide with the TERRASTOCK 5 festival, and benefiting the wonderful PTOLEMIAC TERRASCOPE. magazine one 7” apiece by each of the bands, with all contributing exclusive tracks. five unique sounds all united by that certain psychedelic luminescence… together, a flowing trip through everything from psych-folk to avant-drone to full blown psych-rock. each 7” comes in it’s own two color letterpresed uni-pak style gatefold sleeve, printed on five tones of high quality art paper, and then packaged together in a die-cut wraparound box. numbered edition of 500.
