Description

Terrific original pressing of this hard to find LP featuring deep groove labels, “Van Gelder” and Plastylite “Ear” stamped into dead wax and “9M” handwritten into dead wax. Both labels read “Blue Note Records, 47 W 63d NYC” without R. Record cover is in superb condition, although it is from second pressing; back cover address reads “Blue Note Records Inc, 43 West 61st St, New York 23.”

 

Vinyl: VG+. Vinyl has visible cosmetic scratches and smudges that do not affect play. Sounds VG+ without skips, pops, or clicks. Original deep groove labels are clean and clear. See photos for details.

 

Cover: VG+/EX. Cover (from second pressing, not original) is in excellent condition with beautiful bright glossy front. Back has a small bit of foxing, a tiny ink stain, and stamp of previous owner. Otherwise, structurally in superb shape. Could hang this on the wall as artwork. See photos for details.

 

LP will come in protective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thick vinyl protective sleeve.
