One of my favourite albums of all time in any genre. One of the most sought-after records out there and for very good reason.
For me, this album exists in a category all its own, something you might call ‘Epic folk-funk-soul’. With Terry’s melliflous voice often right at the edge of syrupy but always full of the deepest soul, and the orchestration just on the cool side of cheese, remeniscent of Marvin gaye’s ‘What’s Going On’, this LP pushes the limits of the genre. Arguably starting with the strongest tune, it does kind of lose its energy towards the end but that’s splitting hairs. That voice incidentally, I think it sounds a lot like John Martyn’s late 70’s period… if you know what I mean. The master tapes were one of those lost in the horrible Cadet/Argo/Chess tape fire back a few years ago..

Refunds:
I refund only where I have made a mistake in the listing such as: Wrong item, item not as described, etc. I do not automatically refund for accidental damage or loss in transit.
Returns:
If you wish to return your item due to a fault, I will refund the entire purchase including all postal charges (BUT you must ask me if I want the item returned!)
If you change your mind or simply no longer wish to have the item, I will charge for all postal services and return only the purchase price on return of item.
Feedback:
Feedback is always left for buyers after I know you're happy with the item(s) because I don't feel a transaction is complete until then.
