Description
WAS Sealed USA Original on Cadet label. Brilliant spiritual soul w/ Charles Stepney symphonic sound and the amazing tracks "You goin' miss your candy man",the title track, and my perennial favourite, "Dancing Girl"
Cover in Ex condition due to small circular punch-hole at top right (shrink and inner sleeve also punched out over the hole) plus the usual corner and seem wear. White Promo sticker under shrink on top right back cover (see photo) Shrink torn over seam at top right and left corners. Because of some dust and minor wear under the shrink I decided to open the seal in order to verify the vinyl. Result - a truly beautiful, perfect, unplayed white label promo with a great glossy lustre. Under a 60 watt bulb and after searching for about a minute, I finally made out only the very, very faintest, and very short surface scuff marks at the begining of side B - Ie an "imperfection" perfectly consistent with any factory sealed LP and completely invisible to the untrained eye in normal daylight. I have not played the vinyl. However, only if the winner requests, I will test play it on a recently changed stylus before shipping (though I have no reason to presume that it plays anything other than perfectly). The item on auction is unplayed and for all intents and purposes, "MINT". I honestly don't think you'll ever have a better opportunity to bid with such confidence for this very rare LP.
