Description

This is a clean, well-preserved 1964 Impulse! A-series jazz LP featuring vibraphonist Terry Gibbs with an outstanding quartet: Kenny Burrell (guitar), Sam Jones (bass), and Louis Hayes (drums). Take It From Me is a sleeper gem in the Impulse catalog, cut at Van Gelder Studio and produced by Bob Thiele during Impulse’s peak creative era. The album blends tight originals with expressive takes on standards, making it ideal for collectors who appreciate small-group modern jazz with a warm, melodic edge. This copy includes the original Impulse/ABC catalog inner, and both the jacket and vinyl present exceptionally well for a 1960s issue.
