Description

Double LP test pressing of Classic Records' superb 180g reissue of Miles Davis's "Kind of Blue (CS 8163).  This is a two LP set. The first LP is an exact reproduction of the original pressing that was actually mastered from a tape recorder running at the wrong speed resulting in the music being slightly fast. The second LP  has side 1 of the original LP cut at the correct speed while side two is a 45rpm version of an alternate take of "Flamenco Sketches." This reissue was cut from the original 3 track master tape by Bernie Grundman. The test pressing was produced March 12th 1997. The label on LP 1 says "RTI test pressing, with the date and CS 8163 /A1/B1. LP 2 is same label with C3/D2 45 stamped on it. Both are in plain black jackets with stickers on them from RTI with the same stamp information that's on the label.
The records are mint: played just once.
