REGARDING FEEDBACK:

It's been a while since I sold my last items on Ebay (mainly records and a few CDs, posters and music videos), so my detailed seller ratings are no longer available. Before they disappeared, I had 20 ratings as follows: "Item as described" 5.0 out of 5. "Communication": 5.0 out of 5. "Shipping and handling charges": 4.7 out of 5 (due to the expensive Danish postal service, as I've never charged any fees). "Shipping time": 4.8 out of 5.

This is an original pressing of Testament's LP "Low", released on Atlantic in Germany in 1994.

It comes with the original inner sleeve.

I will pack the record  outside the cover to avoid splits, and I have also put the record into a plain inner sleeve to protect the printed one.

All grades are 100 % guaranteed – no one has EVER asked to return a record to me.

Buying more than 200 records on the internet, I have agreed with the grading only around 10 times! I think this is because most sellers use inadequate lightning. As a seller once said: Everything looks near mint in the dark. There are only two sources of light I have ever tried that are any good for grading records:

1)      Direct, bright sunlight from an unclouded sky. It's the most powerful light source in this world. Why not use it? "Discreet sunlight" is absolutely no good. I've looked at records outside on a cloudy day that looked nothing short of immaculate, and then revealed loads of scratches under just a poor light bulb.

2)      Halogen spot lights G10, at least 50 watt. These should only be used in the evening to avoid diffusing from other light sources.

These two light sources will reveal EVERY scuff and scratch no matter how small or insignificant it may be. Regular room lightning or neon lights (which seem to be the standard at record fairs) reveal practically nothing.

I use Record Collector's grading scale (Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor, Bad). I only ever use one plus and one minus.

The seller graded this record Excellent+. I don't agree:

Looking at the record under halogen spot lights and in direct bright, I see fairly many light surface scratches and scuffs, but no deep scratches. Listen to the sound clip below. On Record Collector's grading scale (Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor, Bad) I would grade it Very Good or maybe Very Good+ if I was to be a bit generous.

To some people VG means completely trashed. I grade such a record as Fair.

SOUND CLIP:

I have uploaded a recording from the actual record for sale. The clip was recorded with a Thorens TD-126 MkIII Centennial record player fitted with an Ortofon MC20 Super MkII needle. If you have less sensitive equipment, you will hear less noise. I have picked out both soft and loud passages to get a feel for each. You will also get the run-in groove on both sides (you'll hear the needle drop) and some parts between songs, so it gives a full description of the record. If you hear a song fading up and the shortly afterwards fading down, then the fade out is not done by me, but is from the record, so you could hear the space between the songs.

COVER AND INNERSLEEVE:

The cover has a 5 cm x 1,2 cm (2 inch x ¼ inch) tear in the upper right corner on the front (see the picture).

Otherwise, only light wear: The bottom corners are both a bit bent (the one closest to the spine most so, and mostly on the back), and there are a few creases (no splits) around the edges, a bit of corner/edgewear, but still fairly nice. I would say Very Good on Record collector's scale.

The innersleeve has a 3 cm split at the bottom, but otherwise only very light wear. Except for the split it's really nice.

NO FEES and NO charges for materials! ONLY actual charges. All records will be sent in sturdy mailers designed for the purpose, and the records will be removed from the cover to avoid any creasing/tearing. The following charges are what the Danish postal system actually charges. They have gone crazy in recent years. There is hardly any difference in the charge between airmail and surface mail in the Danish postal system, so I have only listed the prices for airmail below (ask if you'd like the prices for surface mail).

1 LP record for REST OF THE WORLD: $14.12 for airmail (75 Danish Kroner). $27.67 for airmail with tracking (147 Danish Kroner).
