Description
Hi! You are bidding on Texas Folk & Outlaw Music: Kerrville Festivals 1972-1976, a two album gatefold set released in 1983 by Adelphi Records, catalog number AD 4122/23. The two album set is a radio station discard. The records are in good condition. Side A of album 2 has a small bit of surface noise on tracks one and four, and side B of album 2 has a brief skip on track three, which is a recitation. The call letters of the radio station are written on each side of both albums.
The record jacket is another story. The front cover has sticker residue on the top left corner, plus a small portion of clear tape. There is a Jem Records promo sticker on the back cover, and the radio station's call letters are written across the back. There is a semi-circular portion cut out of the jacket at the top right. Fortunately, the inside of the gatefold has no markings.
Please see photograph number two for a listing of the artists and songs. For those in the know, Texas Fever is Ray Wylie Hubbard and his band. Highlights (for me, anyway) are both songs by Townes Van Zandt (especially Tecumseh Valley), and the track by Bonnie and Bill Hearne.
And just to clarify - listen to Rick Stein's Another Lonely Night in Austin (it's on YouTube), and tell me that Jimmy Buffett did not steal the tune for Margaritaville!
Winning bidder to pay $3.45 media rate postage in the U.S. Personal cheque preferred; there is no holding period for cheques. Please e-mail with any questions.
Good luck, and thanks for looking!
