Description

   For sale is a 3 LP Box set of Thais: Opera In Three Acts, originally released in 1975 on RCA Victor Red Seal Records, along with a 28 page libretto. I bought this box set used and immediately put the records in archival inner sleeves, then it was put it away into a record storage box where it was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity. The cover is graded as Excellent because of a split corner on the cover's upper left hand corner. The spine is Near Mint. The 28 page softcover booklet includes a fold-out poster of Anna Moffo in costume and is in Near Mint condition. The records are visually graded as Near Mint. In the dead wax, between the labels and the last tracks, are the matrix numbers A-1/B-1/C-1/D-1/ E-2/F-2, followed by an upper case "I", indicating that early stampers were used to press these records at RCA's pressing plant located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is one of the best copies of this record that I have ever seen and you would be hard pressed to find a copy like this one. I have more Classical albums, as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
