The 100 Greatest Recordings of All Time from the Franklin Mint Society is a beautifully bound collection of 50 bookshelf display worthy volumes. Each volume contains two double sided red vinyl records that are "Proof Quality" pressed with the finest vinyl resins and the records are heavier and thicker than normal 33-1/3 LP's. Each volume case contains a detailed booklet of information about the music contained within. Each record came with a letter from the Franklin Mint addressed to the collectors speaking of that album they just received. (All letters for each volume are contained with this set).The index booklets and the cross-reference catalog booklets are also in with this set. The owner took amazing care as to retain all pertenant materials that came with the set. The records look as if they were never played but I can't call them new for I am not the original owner so I will state that they are like new. Each record is protected by a clear plastic locking cover that was custon designed just for this collection. I have photographed the volumes and the photos are in extremely fine detail so you can enlarge/enhance them and read the titles of all the volumes.
Please note (Shipping): This is a huge collection and it weighs quite a bit, 176 pounds! That means shipping will be tremendously high due to the weight. Local pick-up is of course preferred.
This collection recently sold on Ebay for $500 plus shipping. I am selling it for $100 less and I will insure it and ship it to you for free.
