Description

The 13th Floor Elevators LP entitled "The Psychedelic Sounds of" released in 1967 on International Artists (IA-LP#1). Early U.S. MONO pressing with green and yellow labels. The cover is still in the shrink wrap with the original price sticker over the shrink on front and there is also a shop sticker over the shrink on the back. The cover is in VG++ condition. There is some excess seam paper at the upper seam right side that is crumpled over a bit to the front. There is also a small crease on the front cover at the lower left corner, the opening edge corner tips are splitting a few millimeters, and a couple of the corner tips show wear/balding at the points (see all pics). One side of the vinyl is M- and the other side is strong VG+ with a few tiny superficial scratches in one small spot and a surface type "blister" in another spot. None of these can be felt or affect play. The labels are clean.    
I use oversized LP mailers with layers of strategically placed bubble wrap to fully protect the cover's corners and edges during transit. Sealed albums are pressure strapped between cardboard flats to clamp down on the vinyl inside and prevent splits.
The grading scale I use is: M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, ...
This album is guaranteed as described or I will gladly provide a full refund including postage costs both ways.

In the first close up pic of the vinyl showing the small surface scratches, the scratches are not "white" as they appear. That is the light overemphasizing them. The second pic showing the "blister", it is somewhat more prominent than what the pic captured. Wanting you to know exactly what you're bidding on, so trying to be as precise as possible... Thanks

Originally released in 1966, this is the second mono cover issued in 1967. I believe the only difference is that the 1966 cover has the song titles at the bottom on the back cover printed in 3 columns, while this cover has the song titles printed on the back in 4 columns.
