ORIGINAL "REAL COOL HITS BY THE AVENGER VI" on Mark 56 records
The AVENGER VI produced this one and only, custom recorded LP, in 1966. They were a Southern California band formed in High School, 1964. This is a KILLER surf LP with two of their big hits "Time Bomb" & Slaughter on 10th Avenue. It truely is a rare Lp. Produced for the Good Humor ice cream company in very limited numbers and sold as a promo item out of their ice cream trucks. The cover is in strong VG condition with neatly taped seams. It has an inscription on the cover and is signed by all band members on the back. The cover slick is in VG+++ condition, no ring wear or surface scuffs. The vinyl is in VG++ to NM condition and plays NM with a couple of lite scuffs that do not effect play. A reasonable reserve on this rare and great LP.
