Description
DESCRIPTION: The Allman Brothers Band 1st self titled LP. Original USA PRC pressing in heavyweight card gate fold sleeve with original ATCO advertising inner . Packed this weighs well over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. Postage cost includes tracking and a box mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: ATCO SD 33-308. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: USA. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER) VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and some light hairlines preventing better visual grade. Played majority of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays VG and better. Music is clean and loud with an occasional tick and a trace of background sound in between some tracks.. Sleeve is really clean and retains great shape, not too far off VG+. It is very firm and square and has moderate to heavy edge wear (no splits) moderate corner wear and light creasing. Very clean inside to gate fold sleeve. Spine retains great shape and is nearly fully legible. Delicate original advertising inner is in great shape. It is pretty clean with light wear only and no edge splits. .I will send this with a new inner as well. Labels are also in very clean condition - check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Complete, 1st US pressing that looks and sounds way better than average.. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER BLUES/PUNK/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
