Description

The Allman Brothers Band at Fillmore East - Capricorn Purple - SD2-802 GF - 1971 - Presswell, Ancora, NJ
The Sleeve shows very minor edge and corner wear, is solid, with no tears or writing. The spine is very nice, writing most intact, a conservative Ex-.
The inserts are Ex-, with the name and title written on the edge of both.
The Vinyl is in outstanding condition, with George Piros initials in each of the deadwax, with each side graded as follows.....
Side One is superb, with original sheen, and carries two extremely faint hairlines, visible under bright light only. The label is perfect. A confident Ex+. Hand etched Matrix - 712223C.
Side Two is similarly superb, tiniest of mark, could do with a deep clean, pushing NM-. Label superb. Matrix hand etched 712225C.
Side Three perhaps the best of the lot. A NM-. Label superb. The hand etched matrix of 712226C has a line subsequently etched through it denoting an error, but is not corrected.
Side Four is nigh on perfect, with very slight lining along a groove, a conservative EX+. Label superb. Hand etched Matrix 712224C.
