Description

I am selling my Allman Brothers collection. I was mad about this band around the time Eat A Peach came out and had tickets to what would have been their first show at The Rainbow in January 1974 - which was cancelled. I did get to see them, though, at the first Knebworth later the same year.
The Allman Brothers Band at Fillmore East. Double LP on USA Capricorn SD 2-802. Bestway pressing.
Vinyl. VG++ In my opinion this is one of the best best live albums ever made. I have owned this for about 47 years and this is the first time I have played it in at least 3 decades.
This is a Bestway pressing denoted by BW press code on labels. Pink Capricorn labels with rimtext DIST. BY ATLANTIC RECORDING CORP., 75 ROCKEFELLER PLAZA, N.Y., N.Y. PR B.W etched in the runouts. Some dust crackles here and there but hardly any. No skips or jumps. Some surface marks and hairlines. Lovely clear stereo sound.
Side one is backed with side four. Side 2 is backed with side three.
Runouts: Side 1: ST-CAP-712223D AT/DK PR B.W. Side 4: ST-CAP-712224D AT/DK PR B.W. Side 2: ST-CAP-712225F AT/DK PR B.W. Side 3: ST-CAP-712226F AT/DK PR B.W.
Sleeve - unlaminated gatefold VG. No tears, stains or writing. Slight rubbing to edges and some corners. Old tape repair to 2 x 10cm seam splits at the bottom. Tape is now gone and splits remain.
Inners - original Atlantic/ATCO company inners. All edges reinforced with tape many years ago.
Records are sent in LP mailers with cardboard stiffeners. LPs removed from the sleeve. A vinyl outer protective sleeve is also provided.
I only send with tracked postage. I can combine shipping.
