Description
For auction is a scarce Alberts records “A” lable promo issue of The Angels - "You're a Lady Now"
This issue was sent out to radio stations to promote the release of the bands first album "The Angels" in 1977 so is far more scarce than the regular issue records. The large "A" on the label is the indicator of a promo issue, and it is not evident on the regular issue release. The album itself was not very successful upon release so promotional items relating to it are few and far between today.
The record has moderate scuffing but no deep scratches. The "A" label itself is in great condition with no sticker residue or writing on it as you often expect to see on a 43 year old radio station promo.
The B side is "Can't Get Lucky" and has a similar light scuffing to the "A" side & this label is in very good condition too, showing only a little wear from being played and returned to sleeve.
Recent auctions has seen the regular issue of this record priced at $20-30. The low start price of $30 has this rare "A" label record priced to sell!
