Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Excellent (Extremely sharp and clear sound, only very slight noticeable audible crackle throughout the tracks, quiet and not much noticeable background noise in between tracks, quiet on the run ins and run offs, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, no serious loud pops or clicks that are noticeable. Excellent sound quality (Playtested 10th June 2009)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Very Good + (around four or five handfuls or so of very light superficial hairline marks over both sides of the record, these do not affect playback in any way, there are no really nasty deep raised feelable scratches on the record though, this record would have been graded excellent but for a very noticeable quite long superficial surface mark on side 2, it does not affect playback in anyway but visually it is noticeable, there may be some additional light paper traces from the the record being placed in and out of the inner sleeve under extreme bright light, looks to have been played very rarely by looking at spindle marks but it has been looked after and cared for very well, labels are clean with no rips/tears to the labels, there is very little wear around the spindle holes, no pen marks or writing on the labels, overall a decent copy)

Album Cover Grade: Very Good + (no major creasing to the front corners apart from a slight top right corner crease, no major creasing to the rear corners apart from a slight bottom left corner crease, no spine splits or top or bottom edge splits, there is no major spine wear/rubbing and the spine is clearly legible, both top and bottom edges do not have any major wear/rubbing on them, no major rips or tears in the sleeve, very slight corner rubbing, there is some slight staining/discolouration on the unlaminated rear, there is very little ringwear on the front and back that is noticeable, no serious laminate lifting or peeling on the sleeve, there is no pen marks/writing on the sleeve, overall a decent sleeve)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 12 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
