I purchased a stack of records from the estate of an old guy who was an audiophile. He had a vintage McIntosh stereo he played them on, (yeah I purchased that too). Some of his albums are in new, still factory sealed condition, apparently untouched for almost 50 years. Pretty cool.
This album is: The Animals, Animal Tracks in New Factory Sealed Condition. The front reference number is SE-4305. The rear reference number is E/SE-4305. it's in Stereo, and put out by MGM HI FIDELITY. Says MGM in black on the spine (as well as the title and reference number). I'm not expert on the various nuances between"Original pressing" and "First pressing" etc., so even though I believe this album is an original 1960's vintage I don't know enough about the categorization system to know if this is some super rare first pressing or just a regular still factory sealed vintage album. I don't believe it is any kind of re-issue but I'm not an expert so feel free to double check on original pressing dot com or something. I'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have in regards to this issue. Even though it's sealed the corners show some bending. Front cover has a partial "ring mark" from where the edge of the record is, and some dis-coloration or "rub marks" especially near the top. The lower right corner looks kind of discolored in the photo-it actually looks better in real life. There is also a couple of small "air holes" near the bottom of the cellophane. The album also has a few more little dings or scrapes if you look close. If you have any questions please feel free to ask before you bid, thanks!
