This auction is for a SLIGHT PREORDER of one of the rarest items I have ever sold on EBAY - it's not often that something awesome gets unearthed after 20 years in storage!  But, this did...

This auction is for a copy of the infamous GIMIX MIX TAPE by The AVALANCHES. Once upon a time, back in the year 2000, The Avalanches went out on tour and they made cassettes (as you did back in the 90's!) to sell and give away on tour!  These were limited to only 800 copies, and were available in both clear plastic (with titling) and also in black plastic (without any titling).  Recently, a stash of 10 of these were found after 20 years, and are signed by both ROBBIE and TONY! A promo cassette from Australia, super rare, recently discovered, an awesome group, autographed back in the day, and now ready to add to your collection!  
Not many people have ever even heard this elusive tape, notr the songs or mixes on it - it's sort of like that one of a kind WU-TANG CLAN album, it's a mystery!
This was pressed / taped by MODULAR RECORDINGS, and there is no catalogue number because it was a promo tape.
NOTE: This is a picture of the external case, but also portrays the clear cassette tape.  This auction is for the rarer BLACK and UNTITLED CASSETTE TAPE (not pictured).  All else will be the same, including the Avalanches Autograph.
