ULTRA- RARE 1973 UK *PYE CONTRACT PRESSING* DOUBLE LP - STEREO Rarest UK pressing of this LP. The production was split between the EMI and PYE pressing plants for the first double album red set (1962-1966). Although the vinyl appears black under normal light, it becomes a deep red wine colour under stronger light.
This rarely seen PYE contract pressing is recognisable for:
Matt labels
Translucent red vinyl

DISCS: Both discs have beautiful sound quality, EX/POTENTIALLY EX+ condition. Both discs have matt custom Apple labels: PCS 7171 & PCS 7172 BOTH DISCS ARE TRANSLUCENT RED VINYL. COVER: Clean and fully intact, EX- condition with only the slightest wear. A small tear is visable at the top of spine, otherwise would be in EX condition. Rare/early outer laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover WITHOUT the George Martin production credit inside the gatefold.
INNER SLEEVES: Matt G&L printed red lyric inner-sleeves in EX/EX+ condition.

Record complete with additional plastic outer sleeve for protection.
