Description

Original United Artists Records STEREO "A Hard Days Night" LP.  Released 26 June 1964.  Spizer version UA 6366.SR1A. Manufactured by Columbia Records (UA didn't press their own records but instead used 5 outside companies to manufacturer their records) as determined by the label print and circular bands. This cover is the 1st printing cover (MC1) with only "This Boy" listed as published by Maclen Music. Later 2nd printing covers list "This Boy" and "I Cry Instead" (sic) as being only Maclen published once UA realized they didn't have publishing rights since "I'll Cry Instead" was dropped from the film.

Graded using the visual grading standards of the Cox/Daniels "Price Guide For The Beatles American Records" (6th edition). These grading standards tend to be more stringent than Goldmine. See my various photos of the cover and record.  I grade conservatively using a bright light so the buyer knows exactly what they are bidding on.

Record - visually graded NM-
Very clean vinyl with a few very faint marks..1 angel hair short scratch and a few minor rubs. Very well cared for in nearly 54 years.

Cover - visually graded NM-
Very nice cover with original shrink (partially torn in a few places) but otherwise it's there. Some minor corner wear likely from storage. No ring wear, no writing, no water stains, no mold. Very faint yellowing on the rear along the mouth. Seams and spine are intact. Interestingly, this LP's front slick was pasted over to the rear; Capitol's original Beatles albums were almost always the opposite (rear slick folded over to the front).

Album will be shipped in a rigid cardboard mailer for protection.  Payment is due within 3 days of the auction's end.  Great piece of rock and roll history!  Please see my other Beatles items for sale.

I have a 100% Ebay customer satisfaction rating!
