The Beatles' Christmas Album was a 1970 compilation album of the Christmas records issued by The Beatles' Fan Club during the 1960s. Each year from 1963 to 1969, The Beatles had recorded a short Christmas message to their fans, comprised of carols, skits, jokes and thanks to the loyal "Beatle people". Each recording was pressed onto a 17.5 inch flexi disc and mailed free to the British members of the Fan Club. In 1970, in the wake of the disunion of the band, Apple released this compilation of all seven. Despite the album's popularity with fans, it has not been officially released since.
There has been conjecture about whether this is an official copy or otherwise. I now show a close up of the label for you to make your own mind up (Photo 3). All I can say for sure is that the sound and look of this copy is superb!! A friend of mine bought it back for me in 1980 from the States. I didn't ask him where he got it from (I didn't care) and, unfortunately, my friend is no longer with us to ask.
Vinyl: Excellent. Sleeve: Excellent. Front = Photo 1; Back = Photo 2. Practically unplayed in over 25 years.(as per Record Collector's Grading System). There may be some flashback on the photos.
A fantastic opportunity to add another vinyl album from this fabulous band to your collection.
