The BEATLES
"I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER" b/w "IF I FELL"
7" single...pressed in Australia...on Parlophone (distributed by E.M.I. [Australia] Ltd. here...catalogue number: A-8125)...
There were at least EIGHT different label variations of this 45 issued here (I won't list them all out here...like I've done with some other Beatles Aussie 45s I'm listing on eBay) - but this is the very first - LABEL VARIATION #1 :
LABEL VARIATION #1: ...ALL text on both sides is in upright/NON-italic text, with the sole exception of the movie credit on each side, which is in sloping text/italics. To the left of the centre-hole on each side, the LEEDS MUSIC 'logo' is between two thin lines which extend out beyond the length of the words. To the right of the centre-hole, on both sides, the time (length of each song) is in brackets. In the songwriter credits on both sides, the two names are separated by 'space/hypen/space', like this: (Lennon - McCartney)
LABEL VARIATION #2: ...on both sides, all larger lettering is in upright/NON-italic text, but matrix number, time, songwriter and the movie credit on each side is in sloping text/italics. To the left of the centre-hole on the 'A' side, the LEEDS MUSIC 'logo' is in sloping text/italics but on the 'B' side, the LEEDS MUSIC 'logo' is in upright/NON-italic text. Also, just on the 'A' side, the LEEDS MUSIC 'logo' is between two thin lines which DO NOT extend out beyond the length of the words. On the 'B' side, they do extend out. To the right of the centre-hole, on both sides, the time (length of each song) is in brackets. In the songwriter credits on both sides, the two names are separated by 'space/hypen/space', like this: (Lennon - McCartney)
These are just the first 2 variations to exist...I'll detail more of them as I prepare them when at hand.

...(originally released here on 20th August 1964)...
Never in pic sleeve here...comes in an original (correct-design for 1964) Aussie Parlophone company sleeve: below the label-display hole, it has only the 'pound sign' logo (in a white circle) ...and on the back, has the 'Rev' anti-static record spray ad, with a picture of a 'Rev' can...Sleeve has large tear however.

Side One: 7AXPA 760
Side Two: 7AXPA 761
CONDITION:
VINYL: ( VG+[+] ) ...beautiful copy...has some very light scuffs/marks only (nothing even remotely heavy)...plays so close to perfectly...it's SUCH a great listen...
LABELS: (Side One: EX- / Side Two: EX- ) ...has name written on each label...but in dark blue pen, on the black background only - so you can barely see it...
