LOVE ME DO UK - 1st PRESSING - 1962
AUCTION ONLY - HIGHEST BID WINS - THANK YOU
Please note: Depending upon where you live, ebay might automatically add import duty to your winning bid.
If you are in a hurry, here is a quick summary: Disc delivers excellent sound
If you have more time, a detailed description follows, where you'll find my honest appraisal of every item but please bear in mind that vinyl records were bought to be played, not put away in a cupboard. I offer original Beatles U.K. pressings, now between fifty and sixty years old, in excellent, collectible condition but they have been played and therefore, will never be mint. Please click on my score right now and read the feedback comments:

THE DISC
Matrices: 1N/1N Stampers: 1-O / 1-G
AUDIO - EX/EX
Exceptional sounding copy, so hard to find in this condition. Both sides play wonderfully, with just a touch of peak wear on the higher notes/vocals, only to be expected from a 60's original copy. Just a tiny bit of static hum on the run-ins but no horrible crackle or repetitive clicks found on most copies. A lovely sounding copy.
VISUALLY - VG/VG+
The vinyl surfaces still have a good gloss finish. However, there are surface handling lines/marks but these are so light that they mostly disappear when the disc is tilted towards daylight reflection. There is one noticeable needle line across side 1 but it is non-feelable and non-sounding. I have graded accordingly and conservatively, considering how bad these originals usually look. If you see chevrons on the vinyl they are from my camera and not on the record.
Being an early pressing, this copy carries the label errors omitting 'Made In Gt. Britain, off centre Lennon-McCartney credits under Love Me Do and missing closing bracket on the credits on side 2. Both labels are clean and do not display any writing. =====================================================================================
THE SLEEVE - VG-
Not perfect but it is a genuine original, and is intact apart from a short bottom seam centre split. It is age toned and there is a bit of writing and a few patches of missing paper, as in the photos.

The photos are of the actual item. I always use professional, anti-static, cleaning fluid and listen to the whole disc. Professional mailers are always used.
I will be listing more Beatles records, so please have a look
