The BEATLES "Meet The Beatles" Capitol Rainbow/Colorband Labels, Record Club Issue, STEREO ST8-2047 in Shrink Wrap.
They say a picture is worth one thousand words...but some pictures don't tell the whole story, so please read my item description & condition below as well as my terms of sale.
ITEM DESCRIPTION & CONDITION: The BEATLES first LP release in the USA on Capitol Records "Meet The Beatles" this copy is a Record Club Issue in STEREO cataloged and/or numbered various ways including ST8-2047, ST-8-2047, ST-82047, ST82047 depending upon where you look on the item and its' contents. This is an early release based upon the Capitol Rainbow or Colorband labels. As I'm sure you all know only the early Capitol Record Club issues included this label variation. The item condition and the identifiable characteristics are as follows:
1) The vinyl disc itself, Side 1 (A) shows a few light scuffs and several scratches some of which may affect play on tracks A3 and A5, Side 2 (B) shows no scuffs, a few light scratches however nothing should affect play quality. Both sides contain numerous finger prints. The labels are nice crisp and clear with only minimal signs of usage around the spindle hole. I have no way of play testing this item so I cannot comment with any degree of certainty on the actual sound quality...see photos and judge the condition for yourself.

• Matrix / Runout / Deadwax (Side 1 (A) etched): ST 1 82047 W1  2
• Matrix / Runout / Deadwax (Side 2 (B) etched): ST 2 82047-W1  2
• Rights Society (Track A1-A6): BMI
• Rights Society (Track B1, B3): ASCAP, all other B-side selections: BMI
• Any/all other identifiable label characteristics can be seen in photos.

2) The Album Cover/Jacket itself is in its' original shrink wrap which has receded about an inch from the cover opening and has split or tore a few inches along the bottom edge as can be seen in the first photograph. The front cover colors are vibrant, front slick is nicely centered. There is a slight seam split or tear about 1/4 inch long on the top seam near the cover opening which can be seen in the photographs. The rear cover is a nice vibrant white. Other than the defects listed above this cover is in really beautiful shape, little to no fading and no writing...see photos and judge the condition for yourself.

• Front cover includes the 'Gold Record Award' logo.
• The number 16 at the bottom right of the back cover around the area of the RIAA logo.

3) The protective inner sleeve is the original rust (orange) color identified as PE 12-2AS. Overall really good shape itself, no seam splits.

TERMS OF SALE:
SHIPPING: I only ship to the continental USA, I do NOT ship International. By default, I ship all items via United States Postal Service Media Mail within 72 hours of auction end. However, since USPS Media Mail is consistently taking longer than estimated and is subject to inspection which can further delay delivery I now offer expedited shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Your shipping cost is calculated based on the item(s) weight (including package and any packing materials used) and your proximity to my location. Combined shipping may be available but, only if pre-approved by seller prior to auction end.
PACKAGING: 1) Opened record albums; The vinyl record disc itself is removed from the album cover/jacket to prevent damaging the cover during shipment. If the item includes a specialized or custom inner sleeve, the vinyl record disc is removed from the original inner sleeve and placed in a generic inner sleeve. The album cover, the vinyl record disc and any/all inserts will be placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment. 2) Unopened (sealed) record albums; Sealed items will remain unopened and are placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment.
PAYMENT: I only accept payment through PAYPAL!  Any/all payments must be completed within 72 hours of auction end unless other arrangements have been agreed to by both the purchaser and the seller. Immediate payment due if and when using the Buy-It-Now option.
RETURNS: I do NOT accept returns for any reason whatsoever.  I use my best judgment when grading items and I describe items to the best of my knowledge and ability keeping in mind that I am not a professional grader or collector.  I post fully descriptive photos when listing an item and additional photos are always available upon request. Answer: Yes, this is the same record. However, my grading of the vinyl disc was inaccurate. I accepted a return, took a closer look and revised my description and down graded the vinyl disc accordingly.
