*REVOLVER* UK - Mono - 1st pressing - 1966

NO OFFERS PLEASE - AUCTION ONLY
================================================================
Here is a rare 1st pressed disc which is in better condition than most original copies. It is not perfect but I have given an honest and accurate description of what I see and hear. All tracks sound great and the majority play without any issues at all. Remix 11 makes this a highly collectible Revolver UK variant. Rather than giving a vague, grading only, or a 'condition is used', I have given enough detail to let you know what to expect. It is unreasonable to list every single 'pop', 'tick', or hairline mark on a very old piece of fragile vinyl. It will not miraculously become 'mint' as it makes its way to you through the post!

THE DISC
Matrix: Side One: XEX 605-2  Stamper: 1-GP         Side Two: XEX 606-1  Stamper: 1-A
AUDIO - VG
The majority of the tracks on this copy play just fine and deliver very good sound quality. However, there are some surface lines that do cause the odd 'pop' and some mild 'ticks', noticeably on tracks 3 & 4 on side 1 and at the very start of side 2. There are absolutely no skips or stalls and this rare variant disc is in much better playing condition than most originals out there.
VISUALLY - VG
The vinyl surfaces still have a good gloss lustre, with no groove whitening or excessive dulling. Although there are many light surface lines, they are mainly harmless and have no audible impact (with the exception of the above mentioned). They are more than likely to have been caused simply through careless placement of the disc after playing, rather than by needle damage.
The labels are fine, with no writing or damage.

THE COVER - VG-
Original 'Revolver' covers don't seem to stand the passage of time very well. This example is completely intact but generally quite tired looking, with wrinkles and bumps and age toning. The back panel is a bit grubby with some marks and a number written in the top corner (see photo).
=====================================================================================
THE INNER SLEEVE - VG+
This is the correct 'patents applied for' plain white original. It is in great condition no seam splits, just age toning.    ======================================================================

The photos are of the actual item. I always use professional, anti-static, cleaning fluid and listen to the whole disc. Professional mailers are always used.

I will be listing more Beatles records, so please have a look
