I offer original Beatles U.K. pressings, now between fifty and sixty years old, in excellent, collectible condition but they have been played and therefore, will never be mint. Having seen many 'White album' MONO'S over the years, I have to say that this whole original package is in lovely condition, when compared to the vast majority out there. It is not mint perfect but has been looked after and would be a great addition to any collection.

THE DISCS
Matrices: 2/1/1/1          Stampers: 5-GAT / 7-GGT / 1-OO / 2-AD

AUDIO - EX/VG+/EX+/EX+
It is so hard to find a pair of 'White album' mono discs that play this well. The run-ins/outs on all four sides are near silent.
Disc 1: side 1: Perfect audio, without any intrusions, which is almost unheard of on Mono copies Disc 1: side 2: A tiny needle line at the start does produce some gentle rotational 'ticks'. There are a few 'pops' on the last track.
Disc 2:             Both sides play perfectly from start to finish. Just one dust 'pop' that I could detect.
Please bear in mind that there are 30 songs on this double L.P. and to find 28 that play perfectly, is almost impossible.  
VISUALLY - EX+/EX+/EX+/EX
Exceptional. The vinyl surfaces have retained most of their original gloss lustre and only display the lightest of handling lines. Even against bright reflected daylight any surface marks are minimal. You can see from the photos above, that there are the expected spindle trails but they are not excessive and the holes are tight and sharp, suggesting careful handling and alignment.   =====================================================================================
THE COVER - VG+
# 0070372   As far as 'White album' original covers go, this one is in very good condition. It feels sturdy and has age toned fairly evenly inside and out. Like all originals, it is not pure white, more creamy beige, and is a little darker than depicted in the photos. There are pressure lines, as well as a small tear on the top opening edge. The spine laminate has 'flaked' away through the centre (like most) but all the lettering is still readable. As a true mono cover, the back panel is blank. Although not perfect, it would be hard to find an original much better than this example.
Please note: If you scroll through sellers photos, it will appear that the covers are white. Unfortunately, this is how digital cameras seem to see the image. Mine too, showed this cover as pure white. I have used a filter to get the images as close as I can to their actual colour, but it is still a bit darker. There are NO original album covers that are snow white. It is the laminate adhesive that changes the tone over the years. This is also a common fault on original copies of Help! and the white area of Yellow Submarine.

THE INNER SLEEVES - EX
Original, single die-cut inners. Ridiculously fragile, made from thin paper. However, their condition is usually a good indicator of how well the package has been looked after. These are in top condition and have survived remarkably well. Just one small side seam split on each of the bags, but no heavy creasing and the die holes are fantastic. Almost impossible to find this good.

The photos are of the actual item. I always use professional, anti-static, cleaning fluid and listen to the whole disc. Professional mailers are always used.
