Description
Here are a pair of original mono discs that are not perfect but sound pretty good, and although I'm going to give them a cautious Good+ grading, they probably deserve better. It's up to you to decide from the description below.
Firstly, they play much better than expected from their appearance, having not been handled with care. The surfaces display many marks and lines and there are numerous spindle trails. However, sound quality is still surprisingly good.
The more frequently played first disc does play with some peak wear, mild background crackle, and some occasional clicks and pops. Less so on disc two which produces very good audio. However, I have played all 4 sides twice and there are NO skips or stalls, which is a little surprising. I'm reluctant to guarantee that this won't happen on your system but it didn't on mine. Please be aware of this if you want to bid.
I have had many White album discs, a lot of which were unplayable or sounded terrible but these two are definitely not in that category. They play all the way through and still produce a clear sound.
