The BEATLES
1968 - Mono - 1st pressing PMC 7067/68 XEX 709-1 / 710-1 / 711-1 / 712-1 1G / 3GMR / 1GGL / 2GGL
All four sides appear near perfect in daylight - just a few harmless wispy lines - stone cold silent run-ins throughout and no background noise - there is some peak wear but nothing more than to be expected from records that have been played and enjoyed - they have been handled with great care - some crackle on 'Honey Pie' but no obvious reason why - all tracks play without any problems
The cover is in lovely condition - cream/yellowish hue but evenly toned - all spine laminate is there with just a small split about midway - all text is perfectly legible - some creases/stress lines and disc impression but no tears - the number is very bold - hard to find a first issue like this
Original black single die-cut bags are in remarkable condition - no tears just general creasing
Photos and lyric poster are in excellent condition and are originals
The throw-away photo spacer was used to separate each set in the manufacturers box ready to be put into the cover but some were included by the packer
Note: This is a decent package where all components have been handled with care, including disc 1, which often has crackle and clicks, and comes with the added appeal of displaying the earliest possible 1G stamper on side 1, also confirming the fact that labels with and without the text 'An EMI Recording' were in production from day one
