If you have more time, a detailed description follows, where you'll find my honest appraisal of every item but please bear in mind that vinyl records were bought to be played, not put away in a cupboard. I offer original Beatles U.K. pressings, now between fifty and sixty years old, in excellent, collectible condition but they have been played and therefore, will never be mint. THE DISC
Almost impossible to find an original copy that delivers the sound quality of this disc. Early 1960's Beatles L.P.'s in stereo are very rare, especially any pressed in 1963, as most music systems would only play mono discs and would damage the groove of a stereo copy.

AUDIO - EX
Tempted to grade this higher as the audio is crystal clear! This disc plays wonderfully, with just the odd random 'pop' on a couple of tracks but this is being very fussy. There is some faint crackle through the run-ins which is quite normal on analogue stereo discs from that era. It would be hard to find a better sounding original copy.
VISUALLY - VG
It is true to say that these thicker vinyl discs are much more resistant to the audible effects of surface lines, and this one is a perfect example of that. The deep gloss lustre still remains but there are numerous lines/marks visible, although they are mainly very light and most likely to have been caused by careless placement of the disc, rather than any actual needle damage. Most are faint and wispy and completely harmless. If you demand visual perfection, then this copy will not fulfill that requirement.
The labels are in very good condition and carry the 'Gotta' and 'Jobete' errors.

THE COVER - GOOD+
Although this one is looking a bit tired, it is still better than most original examples and has no serious issues. As a first edition, it has the darkest image of the band, as well as the 'Gotta' spelling error. The spine is unrubbed with perfect lettering. The bottom seam has a split by the opening but this has been stabilized by an internal repair. The unprotected back has 'browned' from age and has a few stains. The front has perimeter wrinkles and thumb bends but no laminate lift. The photos will give you the best impression.

THE INNER SLEEVE - EX
'Patents applied for', clear polythene lined, thick paper issue. There are no seam splits. A lovely example. ======================================================================
The photos are of the actual item. I always use professional, anti-static, cleaning fluid and listen to the whole disc. Professional mailers are always used.
